Grilled Summer Herb Pork Steak served with Cavendish Farms® Straight Cut French Fries

Ingredients

4-1/2 lb./4-250 g pork steaks 
1 cup/250 ml  vegetable oil
4 tbsp/60 ml chopped fresh lavender
3 tbsp/45 ml chopped fresh rosemary
1 tbsp/15 ml chopped summer savoury
1 tbsp/15 ml chopped fresh thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to low heat or oven to 350°F/175°C.
  2. Pour oil into a large, resealable plastic bag. Add lavender, rosemary, summer savoury and thyme; let stand for 10 minutes. Place steaks in bag with marinade, and marinate for 5 minutes. 
  3. Remove steaks from marinade, and arrange on grill or on a greased baking sheet. Cook the pork, turning only once, for 10 to 15 minutes depending on desired doneness. 
  4. Serve with grilled or roasted vegetables and Cavendish Farms® Straight Cut French fries.
