|2 cups ||Processed cheese spread |
|½ cup ||Mozzarella cheese, shredded |
|½ cup ||Cheddar cheese, shredded |
|2 cups ||Shredded lettuce |
|2 cups ||Tomatoes, diced |
|¼ cup ||Green onion |
|¼ cup ||Sliced black olives, optional |
|¼ cup ||Jalapenos, optional |
|¼ cup ||Salsa |
|¼ cup ||Sour cream |
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Spread Cavendish Farms Hash Brown Bites in a single layer on a non-stick baking sheet. Place in oven and cook for 18-20 minutes. Turn product halfway through cook time. Cook until desired crispness and remove from oven.
Reduce heat in oven to 350˚F.
Place ground beef in a medium non-stick skillet or frying pan on the stove top over medium high heat and cook for 8-10 minutes. Remove and drain well.
Season beef with the Cajun spice and chili powder.
Place Cheese spread in microwave for 45-60 seconds to soften.
In a large mixing bowl, combine Hash Brown Bites, ground beef and Cheese spread. Mix gently.
Add half of the mozzarella cheese and half of the cheddar cheese.
Mix gently and place into a large casserole dish.
Top casserole mixture with remaining shredded cheese and place in the oven for 6-8 minutes.
Remove and garnish with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, green onion, olives and jalapenos.
Top with salsa and sour cream (or serve on the side).
