Ingredients
- 1 bag Cavendish Farms FlavourCrisp Classic Crinkle Cut Fries
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves, plus more for garnish
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1 garlic clove
- 1-inch piece ginger, peeled
- 1 small hot green chili (optional)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2–3 tbsp ice-cold water
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- 1/2 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 3–4 tbsp tamarind chutney
- 1/4 cup tomato, finely diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
- Handful sev or crispy chickpea noodles (for garnish)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Spread Crinkle Cut Fries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and cook according to packaging instructions.
- To prep the green chutney, add cilantro, mint, garlic, ginger, green chili (if using), lemon juice, water, and a pinch of salt to a blender. Blend until smooth, adding more water as needed to reach desired consistency. Set aside.
- Heat a small skillet over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and toast, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 1–2 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Remove cooked Crinkle Cut Fries from the oven. Sprinkle evenly with chaat masala and top with shredded mild cheddar and Monterey Jack. Return to the oven for 2–3 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Arrange the cooked Chatpate Cheesy Fries on a large serving dish. Drizzle with green chutney and tamarind chutney.
- Top with finely diced tomato and red onion, then finish with toasted cumin seeds, sev, and fresh cilantro. Serve immediately.
