Leftover Turkey Melt with Crinkle Cut Fries

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Cavendish Farms FlavourCrisp Classic Crinkle Cut Fries
  • 1 cup leftover roast turkey, shredded
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise, plus more for bread
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
  • 2 scallions, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp dill, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp pickles, finely chopped
  • 1/2 lemon, zest
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices sourdough
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Spread Crinkle Cut Fries in air fryer basket and cook according to packaging instructions.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine leftover turkey, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, celery, scallions, dill, pickles, and lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Assemble open-face sandwiches by layering the turkey mixture and cheddar cheese on the bread slices.
  5. Cook sandwiches in the air fryer for 2 – 3 minutes, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  6. Serve hot with cooked Crinkle Cut Fries on the side.
