Ingredients

  • 1 bag Cavendish Farms FlavourCrisp Classic Straight Cut Fries
  • 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 medium to small white onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp ground coriander
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 cup tomato purée
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • Salt, to taste
  • Cilantro, chopped (to garnish)
  • Green onion, chopped (to garnish)
  • Green or red chilies, sliced (to garnish)
  • Lime (for serving)

Directions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Spread Straight Cut Fries in air fryer basket and cook according to packaging instructions.
  3. To prep, heat oil in a large skillet or heavy pot over medium. Add garlic, ginger, bay leaves, and onion. Cook for 4 - 5 minutes, until aromatics are softened and lightly golden brown. Add coriander, garam masala, paprika, and turmeric. Cook for 1 - 2 minutes, stirring often, until spices are fragrant.
  4. Mix in tomato purée and cook for 2 - 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened. Add in ground chicken and break into small pieces. Season with salt and stir to combine. Cook uncovered until meat is cooked through, about 8 - 10 minutes. Remove bay leaves and set aside.
  5. Transfer cooked Straight Cut Fries to a large serving platter. Top generously with keema, chopped cilantro, green onion, and sliced chilies.
  6. Serve with plenty of lime wedges!
