Prep: 10 min | Cook: 15 - 20 min | Serves: 1

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Cavendish Farms Restaurant Style Drive-Thru Fries
  • 2 slices brioche bread
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 slices Swiss or Gruyère cheese
  • 1/3 cup leftover turkey, sliced or shredded
  • 2 sage leaves, minced
  • 1 tbsp cranberry sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Warm gravy, for serving (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Spread Drive-Thru Fries in air fryer basket and cook according to packaging instructions.
  3. To prep, lightly toast the brioche slices before assembling to help the sandwich hold its shape.
  4. Spread Dijon mustard on one side of each slice of toasted brioche. To one half, add one slice of cheese, leftover turkey, minced sage, and cranberry sauce. Add the second slice of cheese, then close the sandwich with the remaining slice of brioche.
  5. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Lightly dip the sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
  6. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sandwich and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until the cheese is melted and the sandwich is golden brown.
  7. Serve the Monte Cristo hot with cooked Drive-Thru Fries and optional leftover gravy for dipping!
