Drive Thru Fries
These skin-on fries are a true favourite. Cavendish Farms Restaurant Style Drive Thru Fries offer the flavours of dining out with the comfort of staying in. Ingredients
- 1 bag Cavendish Farms Restaurant Style Drive-Thru Fries
- 1 lb ground lamb or ground chicken
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 small (6”) flour tortillas
- 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil, divided
- 1/2 cup tzatziki
- 1 cup cucumber, diced
- 1 cup tomato, diced
- 1/2 small red onion, diced
- Parsely, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon (for serving)
Directions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
- Spread Drive-Thru Fries in air fryer basket and cook according to packaging instructions.
- To prep, add ground meat, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to a large bowl. Mix until combined and divide into eight equal portions.
- Arrange tortillas on a flat work surface. Place one portion of the meat mixture in the centre of each. Using the back of a spoon, press firmly to spread meat evenly to the edges of the tortilla.
- In a large skillet, heat half the oil over medium-high heat. Place 1-2 tacos meat-side down in the skillet, pressing gently. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until meat is browned and crispy. Flip and cook for a further 1-2 minutes, until the tortilla is golden. Transfer to a plate. Repeat in batches, adding more oil as needed.
- Top each taco with a spoonful of tzatziki, cucumber, tomato, red onion, cooked Drive-Thru Fries, and chopped parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
