Ingredients
- 1 bag of Cavendish Farms Quick Crisp Onion Rings
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp mayo
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp pickle brine
- 1 lb ground beef, divided into 4 portions
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 brioche hamburger buns
- 1 cup iceberg lettuce, shredded
- 1 vine ripe tomato, sliced
- 2 pickles, sliced
Directions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
- Spread Onion Rings in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook according to packaging instructions.
- To prep, whisk ketchup, mayo, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and pickle brine in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Form the ground beef into 4 equal-sized balls and place them on the skillet, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Smash each ball with a spatula to form a patty. You can use a square of parchment between the spatula and the patty to prevent sticking. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 3 - 4 minutes per side until the patties are well-browned. Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty in the last minute of cooking.
- After the burgers cook, lightly toast the brioche buns on the skillet.
- Spread house sauce on both the top and bottom buns. Layer on the shredded iceberg lettuce, sliced tomato, smashed burger patty with melted cheese, a few pickles, and top with two cooked Onion Rings.
