Ingredients
- 1 bag Cavendish Farms Sweet and Crispy Onion Rings Value Pack
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 4 pieces butter or bib lettuce
- 8 slices thick cut bacon
- 1 lb 80/20 ground beef
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 sesame burger buns
- 1/2 cup your choice BBQ Sauce
Directions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
- Spread Onion Rings in the air fryer basket and cook according to packaging instructions.
- Preheat grill to medium heat (375 - 400° F).
- To prep, thinly slice the tomato and wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Set aside.
- Cook the bacon in a grill-safe foil tray on the preheated grill or in a skillet over medium heat. Cook until crispy, about 8 – 12 minutes, then transfer to a paper towel–lined plate.
- For the burgers, divide beef into 4 equal portions and shape into patties. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Grill the patties for about 4 - 5 minutes per side. During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with cheddar cheese and close the lid to melt.
- Place the burger buns cut-side down on the grill for 30 - 60 seconds until lightly toasted.
- To assemble burgers, spread BBQ sauce on the bottom toasted bun. Layer with lettuce, tomato, cheeseburger patty, 2 slices bacon, more BBQ sauce, and cooked Onion Rings. Finish with the top burger bun.
- Serve with remaining cooked Onion Rings and BBQ sauce on the side!
